The Societas Monstrorum was an organisation founded by Dr. Drake in 1898 to protect fabulous beasts other than Dragons. His studies for the society led to the books Monsterology and The Monsterology Handbook:A Practical Course in Monsters. It is the Monsterology counterpart to the S.A.S.D..
