Miss Ta was the Chinese dragonologist who accompanied Dr. Drake on his expedition to the Tibetan Monastery of the Seven Snakes in summer 1874. She introduced him to the Oriental species, particularly the Chinese Lung and the Tibetan Dragon. Drake later used this informatin in The Dragonology Handbook: A Practical Course in Dragons.
